I was away for the weekend, folks–if you haven’t seen the pics, you will soon!–and now I’m digging my way out of an Enormous Pile of Behind. But here’s this week’s Buffy essay, for your reading pleasure.

We got Entropy all over the #BuffyRewatch @tordotcom
This week’s BtVS essay is on “Entropy,” which–in case you’ve forgotten–is the one where Anya and Spike get drunk together and things happen. Sad, spoilery and not too difficult to understand stuff.
I’ll be on the road this weekend, so I may pop in on the comments thread very sparingly.
I am several weeks ahead of these essays in terms of viewing, so right now I’m watching the very last episodes of S6. For all that the general woe of this season doesn’t work for me, I do love the rampage at the end, and its resolution.
Normal’s overrated on the #BuffyRewatch @tordotcom
I have reached “Normal Again” as I make my way through Season 6. I have to say, it’s really quite a bit more upbeat than I remembered, if only because the previous episodes are such incredible downers.
Enjoy!
Telewitterings: Hurrah, New Jossness!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was charming. I don’t love any of the new-to-me characters yet. I’d have much preferred J. August Richards for the Riker character. (By whom I mean Agent Ward, a.k.a. “The Poop.)
The story was just so-so, I thought, but the geeks show some promise and I did really like the pilot, Melinda May. And of course it was delightful to see Phil Coulson being a) not dead and b) perky about it.
Xander says “I don’t” on the #BuffyRewatch
Oh, this one hurts. What more is there to say? (Somehow, I did find things to say.)
