Praise for Child of a Hidden Sea

…the writing that surrounds Sophie’s voice often has the muscular precision that I associate with Elizabeth Bear’s prose, and in parts I found myself reminded of some of Guy Gavriel Kay’s work.” Amal El-Mohtar, NPR

“Dellamonica’s tale is one of intrigue and power struggles, jealousy and competition, culture shock and the alienation of discovering your family is not what they thought.” – Marie Brennan

“Dellamonica plunges us into a magical world that is rich with details both fantastic and ecological. A fast-paced adventure-mystery that had me reading long into the night.” – Hiromi Goto

Praise for A.M. Dellamonica

“… delivers a powerful story of good intentions gone terribly wrong and introduces a promising new voice that brings a fresh vision to the genre.” Library Journal

“A psychologically astute, highly original debut–complex, eerie, and utterly believable.”
